Title: Node lost off graph view [Unity 2018 Prefab Editor - BUG]
Post by: pXd on December 27, 2018, 01:48:13 PM
Hey,

I was dragging a node and the node shot off the end of the graph view and I cant recover it though it is still connected to the states back in the main node area.

How can I reset its position? I would just re-create it but it has quite a lot of logic in it and is a prefab that is used throughout my project.

Thanks

UPDATE:

This seems to only happen in the prefab editor in Unity 2018.
It happens when dragging states, every time.

Not sure if it's a Unity or Playmaker bug.

Hope this helps.

Hi, you need to update PlayMaker to the latest version. We released a patch to support the new prefab workflow in 2018.3.

Update PlayMaker in the Asset Store while running 2018.3, import and then Install from the Welcome Screen.

Thanks Alex,
This shouldn't break any custom actions right? It should only over Playmaker core components correct?

Thanks again.

Hi.
only original action will be overwritten if you changed then, but if you have custom action with their own file names it will not overwrite.

but just to be sure always make a backup when you update.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue with Playmaker 1.9.0 p17 in Unity 2019 1.9f1.

As soon as I touch a state it jumps to the bottom right corner of the graph view.

I'm unable to repro here. Can you confirm that you installed Playmaker 1.9.0.p17 after importing it by checking PlayMaker > Help > About PlayMaker...
