Title: Steam VR Input System
Post by: Hannes on January 31, 2019, 09:00:40 PM
Hi. When using oculus SDK the playmaker scripts using the unity input system work totally fine (key pressed etc.). However, now I need to use the Steam VR SDK 2.x with a new input binding system. What scripts do I need or how can I trigger recent when a custom button is pressed on the vive/oculus controller? Normal input bindings don't seem to work.

Hi,

It's likely that Rewire will offer you support for this:

Just a heads up, i believe "sebaslive" is in the process of upgrading his actions for SteamVR 2.2

And i'm also going to be releasing an asset pack with 2.2 compatible actions and examples in the next week or so.

It will be a few more months, but I will also be heading a small team of people to make actions (for free again), for VRTK4 when it hits stable release.  8)
