Title: moving states in the editor - bug [SOLVED]
Post by: billybrunts on June 14, 2019, 10:17:53 AM
Hello,

I'm really struggling to use the editor at the moment.  Frequently, after working fine for a while, it will start to drop any states I move somewhere so far from the other states I can't find them again ('states03.png').  The same thing happens when dragging connections.

I've tried 2 different mice with the same result.

I have Unity 2019.1.0f2 and playmaker 1.9.0

Can you please suggest a fix?  I'm really struggling and I'm on quite a tight deadline.

Many thanks,

Andy

I had a couple of errors in one of my state machines.  Fixed the errors and the erratic movement stopped.  Phew!

It's back.  I did more digging - it's ONLY happening when I edit the prefab.  If I edit an instance the bug doesn't occur, equally if I edit an unpacked prefab everything works as expected, so it's only when I edit a prefab directly.

What is the full PlayMaker version: PlayMaker > Help > About.

We released an update a while back to fix moving states in 2018.3+
