I am experiencing build stalls with large prefabs. It also does the same thing when I pre-process prefabs FSM from the menu. The prefab is for UI and has many nested duplicate prefabs. I tried flattening the prefab, but the problem persists, so it doesn't seem like it is directly related to nesting and more likely something to do with the depth and size of the prefab. The log will continue to update and repeat processing of the large prefab over and over- so it seems like an infinite loop and I have to force quit Unity. Oddly, every once in a while it will magically go quickly and build without problem- I can't explain that.
Any ideas?
I see that the next patch 1.9.0 Patch 17 may address this issue, but it is not available on the asset store. Is there a way to get this new patch to see if it fixes my problem?
