Apologies if this has been addressed in the past - i scoured around for a solution to no avail.
i was using playmaker perfectly fine for a long while here, but then i dont know what happened - i cannot drag and create states without it dragging off into the void way off in the distance - so i effectively cannot move or create states.
As well as i cannot rename states anymore - it deselects the state after typing 2 letters.
I have NO clue whats happening, tried restarting unity, tried restarting computer, checked that mouse and keyboard are plugged in correctly and working with other programs, checked all my preferences.
I'm completely at a loss. If anyone has ideas to help i would really appreciate it!

Hi.
What unity / playmaker versions are you using? (for exact playmaker version go to : PlayMaker/Help/About PlayMaker...)
-
Oh sorry, definitely should have included versions.
Its playmaker 1.9.0.p6
And unity is 2019.2.1f1 (it has to be this version as its for school and that's the version we're using for the year)

I MIGHT have found a solution actually.
It seems that its just glitchy doing playmaker things in the new prefab editor system in unity 2019. Hopefully avoiding prefabs temporarily wont be a longterm issue but this seems to have sorted it out!
Id still be curious to know why its doing that though, but this is an easy workaround!

Hi,
can you confirm you are working on prefabs?
maybe you are using Unity Collaborate?
Bye,
Jean

Hi.
Maybe it is best to update playmaker, i believe it is now @ 1.9.0p18
-
I am using prefabs yes, I have never touched unity collaborate
Specifically this problem occurs when using the prefab editor (like in the image attached)
If i try to use playmaker from there, i get issues like such.
And i did use the update button and did all that after this happened - but it left me at that version.
Is this version specific to the latest unity version?
Because unfortunately i will need to use this version of unity the whole year of school now.

I've experienced this also, in Unity 2019.2, also working within the Prefab editing mode (not using Unity Collaborate)

Hi,
Can you confirm you have the 1.9.0p19?
Bye,
