Title: Getting Sample Scenes to Work in Unity 2019

See Title.  A lot of scripts are missing or deprecated, and a number of sample scenes are missing components.

Is there an update planned for the official samples?  Or a workaround to get them working?

My Unity version is 2019.2.3f1, for reference.
