Title: Is the Playmaker visual scripting asset worth it?
Post by: MazukFarnas on October 30, 2019, 08:19:42 AM
I have been learning to script in C # and the learning curve is kicking my butt. This is my first language and I was trying to learn it as I learned Unity. I want to still be productive in Unity but also learn to script. Is this worth it or not?

Hi.
Indeed Playmaker is something different that the most other Visual scripting assets.
Which makes it more easy to understand for people that have no experience with coding.
Also to learn the basic for c# playmaker is useful.

The time i started with unity it still supported java and i was learning java, but hitting many walls.
Until i found Playmaker.

I myself learned C# thank to Playmaker, by looking to the action scripts and making my own custom actions.

PM really different from other VS. Bolt is something that i imagine what VS will be look like, although at that time,Bolt is not release yet. PM use state(s) where in the one state, indicate one or more thing that CURRENTLY occur AND the thing POSSIBLY occur that lead to change of state.
