Title: cracked playmaker ?

i got a question . what if i use the cracked or private versions of playmaker to make game and sell it on steam, Would it be illegal to do so?

It is illegal. You may lose your Steam account if you got caught.

Hi.
It is even illegal using a not legal purchased version of playmaker nor any other purchasable assets from the asset store.

Creating those assets cost a lot of time and effort and you are hurting those people by using 'cracked' versions....

What if you put your game on steam which might have taken a year or more to make, and nobody buys it because they use a 'cracked' version......

I've downloaded your game Mr Baby Pottywords, and I'm selling it at a cheaper price.

Also I've seeded it to half a dozen torrents so people can play it for free.

The bigger question is, is it worth your time?

A cracked version won't get any support here or other places.

A cracked version will be out of date. Playmaker is constantly being updated.

If you are using a cracked version, please buy it on the store. It is often on sale on the asset store for a very fair price. It is a one time fee.
