Title: net.Fabrejean folder
Post by: abend on July 03, 2020, 10:22:19 PM
Hiya,

I was wondering if you could expose a setting for the path for the fabrejean.net folder. I had previously moved it to a subfolder, when the ecosystem was installed after the fact, many errors were spat out saying it could not find the folder. I realized it was because I had moved it, and when I put it back in the root, the installation continued, but I would rather keep it in the subfolder. Thanks!

Hi.
I believe that it is not possible due to the way it has to work.

I’d like to have the option to move it, too, but currently, it’s not possible to move.

Hi,

Currently, it's not possible, and generally I strongly advice to never touch any assets coming from external sources, assets store, etc... it always comes back to bite you at some point.

I know it's a pain... what I do is that I create a "App" or "MyGame" folder and there I put all my stuff, I never put anything in the Assets folder root that is specific to a particular project, only assets coming from packages.

Bye,

 Jean
