Title: Xcode issue with Playmaker2.cpp / GuiText / GuiTexture

Hi all,
I just purchased a Developer license to test a dummy scene in iphone and i got this issue with Playmaker GuiText / GuiTexture in Xcode... In Unity the scene is successful build... but not in Xcode.

So i have a very simple dummy scene with 4 objects.
Box has rotation on 1 in everyframe (Looping).

The scene is build successful in Unity... But in Xcode i have this error coming up with Playmaker2.cpp

Can you guys take a look at the setup in have... (btw i removed certification for screenshot)

Btw I also see these people had a similar issue last year in "Playmaker Bug Reporting Forums"...

Hi.
The 'similar issues' are not similar to your issue (only the last one might)

I do not have mac so i can't test, but you can give some more information.

What Playmaker Version are you using (find the exact version : PlayMaker/Help/About PlayMaker...)

How do you know that 'GuiText / GuiTexture' is the issues, as i can't see any clear indication on your pictures.


Also can you please use direct link to images and use the 'insert Image' (top left of text box above the smileys)
as we can see the images directly in the post then.

Have you tried building on mac or other platforms if you get errors?

What actions have you used.

If you think that the gui actions are the issue and you are not using them, you can try to remove them.
IF You Do, make a Backup of your project.

If it did not work maybe you can show some more errors that might narrow the issue.

Hi, So i did delete two action in playmaker. set GuiText/set GuiTexture in GUIELEMENT folder and didn't work in xcode. still giving me error.

How can i delete this GuiElement tab in playmaker actions?
I already delete Guielement in Playmaker action folder but the tab is still showing in Actions. I think this is the issue.

Hi,

 Can you check which version of Playmaker you are using? I just tested and it works here, a fresh project with playmaker 1.9.0p20 works fine as is and gets published.

I have 1.9.0.p20
I have tested Unity version with 2019.4.1f1  /  2019.4.2f1
Still errors in Xcode

Hi,

 yes, I had a look, and It seems that there are two versions of the same playmaker 1.9.0p20 or something like that, or maybe it's because it was a previous version of Unity and upgrading unity broke something in playmaker, it's odd.

 the solution is this,

1: reimport playmaker from the asset store.
2: make sure when you install it again to either not remove the folder PlayMaker/Actions/GuiElement folder.

publish and it will work, it worked here on my machine.

sigh... no it does not work. I have try it many way.. you can take a look at the video.
- I installed playmaker without GuiElement folder/ then run it - failed
- I Deleted folder with Gui/ GuiElement / GuiLayout folders / then run it - failed

I just upload the video so quality might be low and give it 10 mins, quality can be set to 1080.

I do not know what is tight to GuiElement actions exit in Actions browser. Even-though i delete the action in folder and still coming up with error in Xcode.

 then you need to clean up your asset store cache, redownload and reinstall playmaker.

It working after Re-download from Asset store and reimport. ~!
