Title: True Scaling[SOLVED]
Post by: MrMitch on October 20, 2012, 04:33:02 PM
After finding this thread http://hutonggames.com/playmakerforum/index.php?topic=2162.0

I thought i'd follow up the True Scaling as its something i'm in need of and i'm sure many others could use it also.

Can someone write this action please :)

hi,

true scaling with unity gui would be messy at best... I would recommand you go with a proper 2d framework from the asset store, and simply uncheck "pixel perfect" in most case to actually achieve a true scaling system.

bye,

After having a look the only thing i can find for free is http://www.wyrmtale.com/orthello but i don't know if it'll work for GUI stuff and there are no actions.

Any advice?

Hi Jean

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at it, after having a think about it i might just invest in NGUI as i know it'll cover all my needs and as far as i'm aware there are already actions written up for it.

Things might not go as i plan and i might end up using Orthello so i may get back to you about writing up those actions :)
