Title: Red Box of Doom
Post by: greg on February 06, 2013, 12:11:53 PM
Hey,

I've been learning playmaker and unity (bit of blender too) with the fantastic tutorials on offer, here are a bunch of demos and an AI test i've made so far. Just thought i'd share because even the most basic stuff on here has been very inspiring!

I love the idea that the thing chasing you emits a light that you can see in front of you. Normally you don't have that peripheral awareness in a first person view. Really makes you aware of "behind me!" It seems like a core concept you could play with... color changes with state etc.

Thanks. New games seem to solve this with GUI elements on screen, i like the MGS "! BLINGGGG" noise best though.
