Title: Templates: Are they project specific? [SOLVED]
Post by: Red on March 15, 2013, 03:27:54 PM
I've been trying to figure a way to transfer templates from one project to another and so far i have found no joy with that... granted, i can easily export the objects using said templates but it seems that the template system needs to ahve the templates declared in the project itself in order for the template browser to be able to see this.

is this a design thing or is this a bit of a bug?

You should be able to export templates in a unitypackage and then import them into the new project.

Is that not working for you? What do you see?

For what it's worth, copying the template file directly into another project's template folder worked fine for me. Brilliant!
