Hey!
I'm working on a racing game using Edy's Unity Car Physics as a base. (http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/120091-Edy-s-Vehicle-Physics-official-thread)
I need some help making:
1. A lap tracker
2. a projectile item
3. a banana type item
4. a boost type item
I have no problem making assets for the game itself but all this coding stuff is beyond me. Any help would be super appreciated!

So a MarioKart Clone, first you want to start out, by reading more about Unity and Playmaker So you have a better understanding of how things work and what they do.

I'm familiar enough with unity to get the assets in. I have 5 characters modeled and ready to go with some animations done as well. I just have no clue how to do pretty much anything in playmaker.

these sites will teach you a lot, spend a few hours read and watching videos do it in a weeks time as you work on stuff, Best thing to do is build something simple like a clone of a very old game to learn Playmaker. Make a 3D pong or something.

I took some time to learn Playmaker by building a 2D Arcade Style Fighting Game, I didn't finish it but all the basics are there, I do plan on finishing it.
Not even the guys who works for AAA company's or Seasoned Indies can just jump into making a game with a new program,even if it's a program like Unreal the changes from Unreal 3 to 4 were Big enough were some(If not Most) People had to take time to learn the new stuff.
