Title: Playmaker editor doesn't work

Hi,

after working some days with playmaker with no problem, today suddenly the editor doesn't load any FSM assigned to gameobject.
The fsm is visible in the inspector, but there is no playmaker symbol in hierarchy and the fsm is not visible in the editor.
IN play mode ths fsm seems to work and show label on gameobject into the scene, but the editor is always blank.


I've already tried to reinstall playmaker, reset layout, restart unity, windows.
No result.
I 've tried to empty custom actions as well. No results.

Unity version is 4.1.5f1 pro (30 days demo).

Are there any errors in the Unity console?
Errors in the console can prevent Unity from compiling editor scripts.

Unfortunately no error in console.
I've tried to create a new project,with no other assets, the problem still persist.

since I updated to 1.6.2, i get this problem too. for some reason playmaker automatic turn off all the check boxes inside its preferences settings. if you go there and enable everything, it should works again. Hope that help

Try Playmaker Editor > Preferences > Restore Default Settings.

Not sure why some people are seeing editor preferences getting lost recently... maybe something changed with EditorPrefs under the hood...

hmm... if the suggestion that Alex has offered isn't doing it, have you considered re-importing and re-installing Playmaker?

also... the empty windows... are there any messages in the tab such as "Failed to load?" or is it just blank as a fish's stare?

Hi,
yesterday I made a lots of attempt,without success.
This morning I created another time a new empty project and Restore Default settings. Now it seems to work in first instance,but I have no time to test.
Later I will try it in my project again and I will let you know.

It seems to work in my project as well.
