Title: 8-Way Axis Event

I've been trying to make a 2.5D game where the player can face in 8 different direction with 8 different states for each direction and at the moment the standard Axis event just isn't working as expected with only 4 directions. Would it possible to convert it to an 8 way system with Up Right, Down Right, etc?
