Title: OnParticleCollision available?
Post by: Krileon on August 11, 2013, 01:20:20 PM
The last topic in regards to OnParticleCollision was in 2012. Has this been added into PlayMaker yet? I need my flamethrower trap and a few other traps to kill some units when the particle collides with them. Would be very helpful if we could utilize this event to detect if a particle has collided with something. Otherwise I suppose a proxy script to forward the event will work, but would be nice to have it built in. Any suggestions?

Anyone have any idea? Am not seeing anything for this in dotPeek. So am guessing this needs to be done with a proxy script to send the event to an FSM? will the collision enter/exit work?

Yeah, you would need a small proxy script to send an event to an FSM.

I'll try to get this added to the next update so it's built in...

Did OnParticleCollision get into 1.7?  My current production title needs this to move forward with a large part of development.

Playmaker is the best!!  FYI!

Hi,

Can you report this using the bug report, it treat requests as well, then keeping track of this is more reliable.

bye,
