Hello,
I've been having an issue with Playmaker.
Every time I try to import Playmaker, Unity crashes.
I've tried updating Unity and redownloading Playmaker, but it still keeps happening.
It crashes on "compiling scripts".
I unchecked "watermarks" in import options, then it continued but crashed on "gizmos".
At a loss for what to do, please help! My project is (will be) using Playmaker.
Thank you.

Are you importing into a new project? Can you try that if you aren't?
When you restart Unity does it finish importing?
Try resetting the Unity Layout before importing.

I am importing into a new project. I check the .unitypackage in the New Project Builder, as well as try importing into a project from the asset store.
When I restart Unity after it crashes, it just crashes again at the same point and I have to delete the project folder entirely.
I just tried resetting the layout but it crashed again.

Hi,
Can you double check before importing that you don't have any errors in the Unity console? I know you start form a frehs project, but something may be happening in that area.
Can you try importing another package from the asset store? Does that work?
Bye,
Jean

There were no errors in the Unity console, however I can't import anything from the asset store actually.
It crashed when I tried importing a prototype texture pack.
I also deleted and reinstalled Unity to see if that worked but it didn't.

Hi,
Can you paste the errors here so that we know what they mention?
You shoudl contact Unity as well, it looks like a problem with Unity to begin with.
Bye,
Jean

There are no errors. I start importing and it crashes.
The only thing that pops up is a Windows box that says "Unity Editor has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

Maybe it can be a windows problem!
Windows can sometimes fuck up another programs!
