Title: Playmaker and Mecanim ..worth using or better to stick to script? -SOLVED-
Post by: -U1- on October 23, 2013, 01:38:51 AM
What i mean by script is the tutorial unity has seems simple to use for basic humanoid motion.. is it worth using that (performance and ease of use?) or is playmaker better.. i saw this tutorial for animating a kitty.. but it seems like using default method is easier.. am I wrong?
Thanks in advance.. :D

Hi,

If you find a script that does what you need, then why trying to put more work in yourself. Doing everything in PlayMaker as a fun and for gaining experience is good, but there is nothing wrong with reusing what fits your needs, be it normal script or PlayMaker.

As far as performances, I don't think there would be any difference really.

bye,

 Jean
