Hello!
I'm going to release an animation set for characters with rifles. I've made a controller in Playmaker, to test the animations. Because I had a previous experience in making a rough, dirty controller for Movement Animset Pro, this time, the Playmaker graphs are pretty and optimized. It will be ready as soon as I add sprinting and crouching. Here's what I have so far:

I'll be releasing the package with animations + mecanim + playmaker controller. It will be pretty much "drag and drop" Player and Enemies with basic AI, to get you started really quickly.
It will also be compatible (same skeleton and poses) with Movement Animset Pro (movement set with empty hands), so if you holster the gun, you can go to exploration mode.

Web Player demo of the earliest version, I'll keep polishing it and adding features as I add more animations (crouching, running etc).

It´s very soft and clean.
-Your enemies if close to a wall, their animation put´s then inside wall. Try to mix your animation with rag doll.
-When player dies the weapon flies.

Thanks, I'll fix the Player's weapon, but ragdolls are a bad idea. This is supposed to be an example of usage of Rifle Animset Pro, kind of a "starter kit", so people know what the additive aiming is for, how to use Walk Start and Stop transitions etc. This is supposed to be an animation pack, so people can use them in their own games. If I make a full, polished project from this, I might as well just sell it as a game, not as an asset package (and probably earn 100 times more money, who knows? ;)). Polishing and over-complicating this will make replacing the characters more difficult.
But you are right, first thing I would do in my game would be adding ragdolls. Especially for grenade reactions!

Package is not even yet accepted in Asset Store and I'm already working on an update :).

Finally I've managed to make the non-clipping camera with PlayMaker. It's easy to make it, but to make it not jittery and functional for aiming (all this updates, late updates etc.) - thats a challange...
