Hi,
I got a error like "Assets/Photon Unity Networking/PlayMaker/Actions/PhotonNetworkDestroy.cs(43,9): error CS8025: Parsing error" when I just import the Playmaker v1.7.7 from store to unity engine.
Even I didn't do anything the error just happened.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
Is this the only error? you should have one error prior that as well.

Jean

Yes, there has one warring before this error.
It's "There are inconsistent line endings in the 'Assets/PlayMaker/Actions/DebugDrawShape.cs' script. Some are Mac OS X (UNIX) and some are Windows.
This might lead to incorrect line numbers in stacktraces and compiler errors. Many text editors can fix this using Convert Line Endings menu commands.".

Hi,
can you try on a fresh project. the line ending warning is not critical at all, just cosmetic. If you still get an error, tell me.

Yes, I create a new empty project and import the playmaker from store again.
However, it still has a error right here.

Hi,
can you zip that project and send it to me? cause here I create a clean fresh project, import playmaker from the asset store and I have no errors.

Any idea what caused this? PM me if you need further information, thanks.

Unfortunately I have no idea what causes this error. There's no error in that script and it compiles fine on 99.9% of machines... it's baffling! All I can think is it's a Unity/mono bug...
If you're not using Photon you can delete the Photon Unity Networking folder.
If you are using Photon you could try deleting the Library/ScriptAssemblies folder... perhaps the cache was corrupted somehow... Let me know if that works (since I can't repro this bug on any of our machines).

Hi,
This is very odd. I can't reproduce this neither. I'll ask Photon team, maybe they have an history on this.

In PhotonNetworkDestroy.cs
Tooltip("Destroys given GameObject. This GameObject must’ve been instantiated using PhotonNetworkInstantiate and must have a PhotonView at it’s root."
The ’ is the the error char. You can change it with '

hi,
odd, why is it not firing an error on my computer then? I changed it and will be pushed with the newest package when I'll upload it.
