Title: [SOLVED] About 2D animation event
Post by: namihei on March 16, 2014, 09:30:03 AM
Hi, I'm a begginer with playmaker and would like some advice in how to use it.

what I'm trying to creat is a UI and I wanted to test when I made a 2D button and when pushing that button(I'm using mouse down) it plays another 2D animation.
But when I tried doing it it didin't work.
I've tried it in 3D and it worked so does this mean I can't do it in 2D or am I mising a step?

I'm pretty desprate and would appriciate any comment.

Are you using 2Dtoolkit?

Hey, thanks for the reply.
No I'm not using 2Dtoolkit.
I'm using NGUI version2.5 and playmaker.
Is 2Dtoolkit the only way or is there another way to do it using the tools I'm using now?

oh okay, I am not familiar with the actions being used by for 2Dtoolkit I just use a send event with a global function of mouse down on the object (this can be any object with a collidor) and the send event to play the animation in a new state.
