The "Ease Float" action seems to be broken, or am I just not using it properly? I want to use the Speed value instead of the Time value, but when I disable time it throws up an error saying the time value is required. Speed does not seem to do anything in any case.
-
I don't think its there to give some arbitrary "speed" to the ease. It's more like a multiplier for the Time variable.
Otherwise speed would basically be the same thing as time, set time to 1 and speed is the rate.

Thanks Lane, but I find this strange. On the wiki https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W567 (https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W567) the intended behavior seems to be "use one or the other" which is always useful in tween like actions like this. Otherwise I don't see why a speed value would even be included.
Where it runs into trouble is when you start the ease from say 50% of the value instead of at zero. the ease still takes the same "time" to only go half of the total value.
-
Indeed! It doesn't look like its working as its intended as far as the wiki describes.
You should report it as a bug for easier tracking.

I will do that Lane.

Hi, seem it's still not fix yet, i thougt when using speed the length of the time depend on float value range , when using time it depend on the length of time in seconds..

Still not fixed :(

Hi.
Use Tween Float instead
