Title: Problems with the Playmaker UGUI package [SOLVED]
Post by: LAB618 on December 16, 2014, 06:23:25 PM
Hello,

I've downloaded and imported the uGuiProxy.unitypackage but I seem to have a problem with the Playmaker UGui prefab item that I need to add to my scene. When I select it I get an error message on a script component in the inspector telling me that 'The associated script could not be loaded.'

Any idea how I fix this please? I'm using Unity 4.6.0f3 and Playmaker 1.7.7.f6

Thanks

Hi,

uhm, that's odd. I get that from time to time, when I rename scripts and similar actions. But I guess you haven't renamed scripts that are part of the ugui package right? You don't have any other errors prior doing this drag of the prefab?

- Have you tried reimporting the package? if not try, that might help.

- Can you try on an empty project as well? create a fresh project, import PlayMaker, and import this package.

else, pm me

Bye,

 Jean

Hi Jean,

I removed all Playmaker and Playmaker uGui files from my project and re imported them and it seems to be working now.

Thanks for your reply.

Cheers
Steve

Hi, one concern here
Is it ok to have the PlaymakerGUI and Playmaker uGui ( prefab from the uGui Package) in the hierarchy at the same time?

It's fine, they are completely different.
