Title: uGUI text line break question
Post by: dreamingmethods on February 02, 2015, 10:05:19 AM
Hi there,

Can anyone help me! I'm using Unity 4.6 and the uGUI text component to display text on screen and it's working great with the Playmaker Set uGUI text and Set Property commands.

However, I'm trying to change some of the text via string variables, and no matter what I try, I can't get line breaks to pick up?? Neither Set uGUI text or Set Property seem to pick up \n or any other codes? They just display as they are, ie, "\n" in the text area. :(

Any ideas on how to pass a line break to uGUI text via Playmaker string var would be hugely appreciated... Thank you.

Type it as it should be in the UI Text field, then copy-paste it into the Set Property or string variable field in Playmaker.
