May i bother you to link the correct itween asset to download from the store? As there are a few. Once having that then i can import the one from the playmaker addons...correct?

Hi Mooblegum,

It is what i am doing my friend and have been learning slowly though been running to issues with uploading assets or things missing.

Started learning from him http://jonathan-oduffy.thinkific.com/courses/playmaker-101-the-complete-course
At chapter 5 and he awesome as i like to do a lesson a few times + add my twist and sometimes i even do it differently then him. Issue i run into is that its a bit outdated so some options he has i dont have on mine and can be frustrating as trying to learn...

Also i am somewhat over eager and grab all sort of assets and add them to my library to the point i think at times they cause conflict.. now i stick with assets that been updated this year or else i pass.. Only exception to it is the "unity assets 2018"

Cheers and ty as hope the community will be patient with me and my random issues while exploring unity/playmaker

Hi.
If unity console has red errors and stay there when you clear playmaker and other tools will not load.
Playmaker will not be corrupted also unity will not be corrupted.

you need to find out what assets/scripts give those errors and remove them, also report to the authors if needed.

if you downloaded for example action for itween and you did not install the itween asset 1st, you will get errors as well.

Probably what happened i think when it came to th itweens...
So ordinarily its like one of my devs told me.. in most cases it aint unity fault but a bad asset..

is this a TRUE statement..
You must load assets in a particular order or else more errors will occur or not so true.

i would be for the subscription if it were minimal and had a support to paid users needs that were more constructive..

as someone new and learning i overjoyed when i did the first few things in playmaker and see the potential in it..

I need a proper support system for being a newb and all as sure even others would. i would pay for a direct helpful support system.

probably and that could of bugged i i think as i started a new project.. the Itweens actions properly appeared in the action bar...

While trying to add it before it didnt and thats when it went all crazy as i tried to figure out how to add it to my previous project.

I am learning but seems to me that playmaker or i should say unity is very touchy lol

Thanks but right now i realized that to add everything i need before starting a project lol or else possible BOOM

what if no error appears and just some reason PM vanished after trying to upload itweens? i mean sounds odd as its in the assets...

can unity be this fickle or its me as i didnt put any unwanted old assets (assuming here) everything is 2019+

Is it possible for unity to become corrupted that the playmaker toolbar vanishes?

Also, if i backup save playmaker project can i reload the project successfully due to unity previous corruption in a NEW unity?

hmm odd made new project and there you go saw the itweens there within the actions... did install though before hand https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/animation/itween-84

I have a feeling it bugged as trying to reimport PM and says cant as already have it all imported :(

Is Unity this rough or its me... Trying to follow instructions to the T as i was able to do 2 things so far in PM which made me :) :) :)

Any wisdom on the issue above? Do i need recreate a totally new project and reinstall all the assets...

I was doing some tutorials till realized that PM didnt have the itween so added them while in project via PM install menu in unity.

Either way the itween appeared in the asset menu within the PM action folder but did not appear in the action tab...

So i restarted unity and sisnce then unable to see PM in the menu bar but do see it in the assets with the itweens..

Help or what to do?

Auto Added PlayMakerGUI to scene. Note, you need a PlayMakerGUI in the scene to see Playmaker Gizmos, OnGUI actions and iTween path editing. You can turn this option off in Preferences.

So the assets there but how do i call upon them or make it appear on the side...as shown in the video
