3D, sorry I forgot to mention that. It's a 3D build but the camera is fixed to a 2D style angle.

Just wondering if anyone could give me a basic example of how one would choose that. Basically, you have a arrow or icon that is hovering over a specific area and when it vanishes from the cameras view it sits on the side of whichever direction it is... pointing toward whichever direction it is.

So I was curious to see if anyone has figured out how to use the hit reaction with final ik and playmaker? Final IK included some playmaker actions but nothing for the hit reaction.

I thought I could use the call method in playmaker but I am not to familiar with how to.

Here is a portion of the code that I know I can call with call method.
hitReaction.Hit(hit.collider, ray.direction * hitForce, hit.point);

So I found some old actions that someone made to work with PuppetMaster but unfortunately I can't seem to get them to work. I was trying to replicate the hit reaction.

I'm just casting a raycast and it detects when it hits the puppet but it does not react like it should.

It is a public property(bool) that is a part of a "outline" effect script. Unfortunately I've discovered this technique will not work with objects that have a material... The fsm does what it is supposed to do and the public bool is toggled but the effect remains.

Thank you for the help djaydino.

I decided to redo the FSM and put a new one on my intractable item and it works this way.

I do have another  question, is there a way to make Set Property so I do not have to keep modifying it for each individual item?

I've tried setting the raycast high and low and still nothing. I've also tried the invert mask button

So unless I find the "perfect spot" for a mouse over even it never sees it. The FSM is on my "player" which a "tagged Main Camera" is attached to. The object is in the correct layer as well.

Hello! I just bought Playermaker and I am trying to figure out a way to create a branching dialogue system with NPCs. I am totally inexperienced with programming so any help would be appreciated. I would like the functionality to work similar in a way of Dragon Age.
