PlayMaker Help / finished states or go to previous whats going on??

i had a system working i click a ngui button with a finished state to return button to the start state now i see i have to use a go to previous state is this correct

I have set this up every which way possible an this thing is not responding at all.

on the example 11, on the sliced sprite, there is a start with a blank transition
then i see the on select change state. playmaker wont let me make an empty state

my scene is setup the same way an only thing that registers is the click no change

I have went over the example an replicated it an i cant get it to work properly

the example has extra stuff in it that not making any sense. any steps to get this work would be great thanks

Ive noticed, ha i kinda got it but trying to get it where if i hold the button down i can continue to repeat the action

Im tryin to make some simple controls up down left right.

when i make a gui button to send to the fsm that has translate it works fine, when i add a bool to test that the gui button is not being pressed nothing happens i see it being passed but the object doesn't move any thoughts thanks,

and when i click the button it disappears how can i keep it visible the whole time
