Hey sorry to bring back a dead thread but i've finally got back to working in this.

I've attempted to try what sebaslive has suggested but the script is just confusing.

Could someone perhaps make the changes for me?

Thanks Jean got it working.

Although one thing i noticed is that i had to put the actions on different states for them to work as playmaker moves through states faster than parse can respond.

The objectID was taken from the parse website from a Class i created.

So from what you're saying i should use Fetch Async before the actions in the picture?

Ok so i'm trying to update string data in parse using the setup in the attached picture, from what i can see these should be the correct actions to update data but when i run the game i get this error

I imported ArrayMaker and got the same error, so looks like i gotta clean up my project but because i don't understand the error in the first place i have no idea what i need to clean up.

Any ideas what i should be looking to clean up?

EDIT - Never mind i figured it out :)

I wouldn't really know what movement i'd use until i was to start setting up a similar game, as quite often with making games there is more than one way of doing the same thing.

I'm glad you managed to find a solution. I tried messing around with two polygon colliders on one sprite a while back but for my game it didn't work as i had to reshape the colliders and it would only let me reshape the first one added to the sprite but if it doesn't seem to be causing any problems then i don't see it to be an issue but in saying that someone else with more knowledge might be able to tell you why its bad idea :P

If it does start giving you any problems you could always just use two sprites and turn the sprite renderer off on one of them. That's the solution i went with for my game.

Ok i've never worked with Set Velocity in this manner but i think that Set Velocity doesn't listen for collision.

One thing you could try is to toggle Is Kinematic when your player collides with a wall.

I think Float Clamp will allow you to do this or any Clamp depending on what variables you're working with.

Android Help / 2D Movement over time problem [SOLVED]

Ok so with the setup in the picture i attached i've managed to make an object follow my finger on the X axis but my problem is that it instantly moves to my finger.

Is there any way to still use Set Position but to make it move over time or at a certain speed?

Or if anyone can suggest another way of doing it.
