Action Requests / List files in server folder
« on: February 04, 2019, 09:51:41 AM »
Hey all,

I posted, not long ago, on the help forums a request for help with getting a list of all files in a remote server folder but it didn't got answers so, i'll try it again in here, that might be the most appropriate place.

Basically, what i'm looking for, is an action that will get a list of all files in a given remote server folder. I found some other ways to achieve what I want from that, but this would give me much more freedom to do it.
(basically I want to retrieve a list of all image files present in a defined folder on my server via internet).

If anyone knows how I could achieve this or can help providing an action for that effect, that would be awesome. ;)

PlayMaker Help / List all remote files into an array
« on: January 28, 2019, 11:05:31 AM »
Hello all, maybe some of you can help me with this.

Is there an action (or technique) that allows me to retrieve a full list of files in a remote server folder into an array?

ps: I'm also using arraymaker if that makes a difference.

Action Requests / Android Native Pro
« on: January 19, 2019, 08:38:37 AM »
Stan's Assets have been for quite some time my foundation to make anything I make work on android. Not long ago Android Native Plugin got deprecated and upgraded to Android Native Pro. When that happened it was announced that Playmaker actions were on the works but the dev decided now to exclude Android Native Pro from that, only releasing it for the cross-platform version of that plugin.
( )
Well, that's a 3x(+) priced plugin from the one I already bought and paid for upgrade. I feel like that was kind of a "dirty move" and completely left me on the dust towards Android builds.

I wonder if someone is willing to get this new version of Android Native to work with Playmaker. I'd be forever thankful for such thing. :)

PlayMaker Help / Array List Table?[SOLVED]
« on: July 31, 2018, 08:35:13 AM »
During my process I ended up at a situation where I could use an Array of arrays to achieve my goal.
Looking into Arraymaker I noticed that there's a script named "Array List Table", that in a first look seems to be exactly how to achieve that "array of arrays".

Thing is, there's no documentation at all (that I can find at least) about it and I'm not really sure how to use it.

So, my question(s):
Is it usable for what I need, and if so, how?
Is there a better way to get that "array of arrays"?
Or, if none above is really an option, is there a way to get a random Array List from a group of several array lists in a G.O.?

Share New Actions / Midpoint
« on: July 28, 2018, 07:51:04 AM »
Someone asked around for how to get the midpoint between two object and that might have been one of my first Vector math questions, so I made a couple of small actions to get a midpoint between two objects in a 2D or 3D space.

As the title says, it seems to be a bug around "uGui Component Proxy" script while handling ugui Dropdown.

I'm using the component proxy on the dropdown object and I'm trying to set a FSM variable on another object (done this on several text Input and toggles already).
In the dropdown case, it requires it to be pointed at an INT variable in the fsm but it will not recognize any of the int vars in there.
It will also output an error saying: "PlayMakerUGuiComponentProxy on Dropdown: Fsm Float MISSING !!" which makes no sense at all.
Tried to use a float instead of int, still not recognized.

Any help with a workaround for this would also be appreciated.

Share New Actions / Ints and Floats within an interval
« on: August 30, 2016, 06:05:08 PM »
Hey all. First time posting here. Been lurking for a while.

I found myself in need of finding if some numbers are within some intervals. Searched around and couldn't find any action for that so I decided to make my own two (one for int and one for float values).
I have a very basic knowledge of coding so this was actually a nice exercise.

Maybe I was searching by the wrong name, but just in case there's nothing around here are mine for everyone to use.

Apparentely I didn't lurk for long enough. I just found a Forum section called "Share New Actions".
Oh well :D
