PlayMaker Help / Mouse Pick Event Custom Problem

Im using Mouse Pick Event Custom action and it works, but it displays this error in the console:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

General Discussion / RTS Map creation tools/editors?

Can anyone share their thoughts on how can these kind of terrains or maps be created in Unity without manually painting every cliff wall etc.
I have researched some map editors like Starcraft 2 Editor, but there is no way of importing these into Unity.

Any suggestions on how these maps can be done?

I have searched the forum for an appropriate answer but no luck..
I'm having this issue when i try to drag a game object in a Send Event Game object field, and on release i get (see image)

The game object that i'm draging is not a prefab,its not a child object and it has a global event..

Any thought on why i can't drag a game object in Send Event?


I'm having this long mind exercise to try to figure out how to make the virtual joystick work so instead of transform position i need to use force to move my object.

Any advice or idea on how can this be acheved?

I have the following test setup:
-Main game object (cube)
-Empty game object (spawn position)
-Bullet (capsule)

Now, when i want to spawn(create object) from a spawn point(empty game object) which is parented to my main game object(cube), the bullet flies on the world space z axis on the empty object, and i need it to fly on the self space z axis.

How can i acheive this?

General Discussion / Add Force Problem

Hello everyone,

I'm experimenting with add force action, and i noticed when i add a forward force
every frame to a cube with a rigid body component, the cube moves forward but not in a straight line, instead it deviates to left...

When i enable rotation restrictions on Y the it goes straight forward, but this is not what i need.

Anyone else has noticed this before, or m i doing something wrong here?

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here, and so i would like to ask why draw calls add to each other when i go between levels?

Ex: I have 2 levels, Level 1 has 5 draw calls, Level 2 has 4 draw calls and i use Load Level Action.
Now, when i'm on Level 1 i have 5 draw calls, and when i switch to Level 2 i have 9 draw calls.

What can be done to prevent draw calls add to each other between levels?

EDIT:I disabled the Show state labels in Game View in preferences, and now it all good :)
