PlayMaker Help / Parse updating data [SOLVED]

Ok so i'm trying to update string data in parse using the setup in the attached picture, from what i can see these should be the correct actions to update data but when i run the game i get this error

Android Help / 2D Movement over time problem [SOLVED]

Ok so with the setup in the picture i attached i've managed to make an object follow my finger on the X axis but my problem is that it instantly moves to my finger.

Is there any way to still use Set Position but to make it move over time or at a certain speed?

Or if anyone can suggest another way of doing it.

Hi all, i was talking to one of my team members a few weeks back and we were discussing Flappy Bird and he said he wishes we had a game like that, so i took it as a bit of a personal challenge and started thinking about one touch games and this is what i came up with.

It was put together in the space of a couple of days, so far i've found it fun to play around with and much less frustrating than Flappy Bird :P but give it a try and tell me what you think :)

It was also made entirely with playmaker, zero scripts, all action!

I've been having some trouble getting ads into my game, i've been trying to work with AdBuddiz but it seems i need a bridge for it, has anyone used AdBuddiz with playmaker before or does anyone know of another good network that works well with playmaker?

So i've been trying to make a 2D object track my finger but it doesn't seem possible with the current actions due to how 2D coords seem to work.

Does anyone know a good workaround or am i missing something?

Android Help / 2D and NGUI positioning [SOLVED]

I'm having some issues with 2D and NGUI

So what i'm trying to do is have an NGUI label appear at a point of collision, i have no issues making it appear but its making it appear in the correct place that i'm having trouble with.

I've tried many differeny ways but from what i can work out i think both the 2D and NGUI look at the screen res differently and i can't figure out a way to make them work together.

Has anyone dealt with this before or does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok so i have spheres rolling down a slope, i want them to collide with the slope but not each other.

Anyone have suggestions on how i'd make that happen? i'm working with 2D and sprites.

I'm working on a game similar to Breakout, currently trying to get it to work in real 2D but i'm having issues making my 'Paddle' collide with my level boundaries, so that it can't be moved off screen.

Any suggestions?

SOLVED

I added a 2D RigidBody to my Paddle, turned the Gravity to 0 and moved it with Translate, it now moves and collides with any object that has a collider.

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a positive value be read as a negative and a negative to be read as a positive, so 1.23 would be -1.23 and vice versa

Any suggestions?

Hi, this is Bounce, a game i've been working on for a while, it was built with PlayMaker and NGUI.

All i am showcasing here is a few simple levels that were originally put together to get an artist onboard, there are a lot more ideas behind the scenes :) Also i'm still looking for an artist if anyone is interested(send me a pm).



All feedback is welcomed, i hope you enjoy the game!

Also you can pause the game with escape, something thats not added to the instructions but will be fixed in the next version.

I've spent days trying to solve a problem with image switching with NGUI and thanks to the update, Set Property now allows me to target depth to stop the problem i was having.

I also really like that Photon is integrated, its already given me an idea for a small multi-player game :)

I've searched the forums and can't find anything.
