PlayMaker Help / PlaymakerNACL

I've done some research in attempting to find the PlaymakerNACL package that comes with the current version of playmaker. I would like to build my game on HTML5.

I can't seem to find it in my current version or on the ecosystem.

Am I looking in the wrong area?


Edit: from looking around, I don't seem to have  playmaker-version folder. How do I get this?

Edit 2: Found the folder finally.  Now I'm getting "Plugins colliding with eachother" when attempting to build and run html5 build. 

Edit 3: Ok, so we deleted and reimported playmaker... and not none of my particle systems, camera actions, or animations (utilizing set property -> sprite) are working.... Yikes.   This is a headache.

PlayMaker Help / Set Velocity 2d in Local Space

Hi All.

Loving playmaker so far.

However, I'm having some trouble moving a projectile in my 2d project.

It has a box collider and a rigidbody2d and I would like to move it using Set Velocity however the action only works in world space.

Is there a better way to do this? I noticed that the 3d action has a Local Space toggle...

Add Force 2d doesn't give quite the effect I'm looking for and I don't want to use Translate given the physics...

Any help would be appreciated. I already searched the ecosystem for an updated action.

User Showcase / Super Missile Defense

Hi Guys,

been playing around with playmaker for a few months now - check out one of my games:

It's a Missile Command remake using an upgrade structure and different types of projectiles.

I've had a few people using Chrome say it crashed their browser, heads up, not sure what's up with that.


PlayMaker Help / [SOLVED] Playmaker and 2d Toolkit compatibility

After downloading 2d Toolkit and importing the actions on this page:, I get this compiler message:

Assets/PlayMaker Custom Actions/toolkit2d/SpriteGetPixelPerfect.cs(75,37): error CS!)^!: Type 'tk2dBaseSprite' does not contain a definition for 'pixelPerfect' and no extension method 'pixelPerfect' of type 'tk2dBaseSprite could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I do not know how to rectify this, help greatly appreciated.

PlayMaker Help / Replaced my Prefab, any way to recover FSM?

Lost a lot of work today... I accidentally copied over a prefab with another game object and then updated it.  CTRL+Z was no help.

The bulk of the work was in the 4 FSMs that governed the AI, health manager, and damage systems.  It was probably 5+ hours of work.

Does anyone know how to recover or access old FSMs which have been deleted / no longer in the game?

Hi everyone,

Did some searching on the forums and on google and wasn't able to find anything that uses playmaker's ready-made actions.

How do you detect if a game object with a specific tag is in a scene?

I have an object that I want to behave differently if there's an "enemy" in the scene or if there's none.

I'm imagining it's something to do with "Find Game Object" and then some sort of compare or test but I'm just not getting it.

Any help would be much appreciated!
