PlayMaker Help / PlayMaker Photon not working?
« on: April 20, 2019, 05:18:50 AM »
So i downloaded the newest Photon Actions from GitHub,
and newest Photon. However i get 46 Errors which are type of Name Space errors.

Code: [Select]
Assets\PlayMaker PUN\Actions\PhotonNetworkConnectToRegion.cs(15,22): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'CloudRegionCode' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Code: [Select]
Assets\PlayMaker PUN\Scripts\PlayMakerPhotonProxy.cs(64,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'PhotonPlayer' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Code: [Select]
Assets\PlayMaker PUN\Scripts\PlayMakerPhotonGameObjectProxy.cs(20,54): error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'MonoBehaviour' does not exist in the namespace 'Photon' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

It seems these are out of date after a little digging around the internet.
Are the Actions going to be fixed sooner or later?
I managed to fix some, but the MonoBehaviour one i could not.

Action Requests / Re: Steam / / Steam SDK

Action for Steam Overlay would be very useful.
Could have for instance "Send Events" for what happens if the Overlay is active and stuff like that. You could for one pause the game when its active.

There is script for this already, but would be nice to have it on playMaker too.

General Discussion / Re: How to make "Load Level Asynch" work right?
« on: January 18, 2018, 07:10:21 AM »

 Sample is up:

search for "scenes" and filter by sample to find it straight away,

Let me know if it doesn't help you, the key is to store the hash for the loading process and use that hash to activate it.

Thanks a ton! Got it working under 5 minutes with the sample, such an simple solution! (Using the Hash that is..)

General Discussion / How to make "Load Level Asynch" work right?[SOLVED]

Edit; Seriously, no one knows how to deal with this problem?

So i'm trying to make an loading screen, that when the next scene is loaded
the current scene fades out image & music before moving on to the next level.

I have been trying to use the said action, but i cant find a way to switch the scene once the fade outs are done.

I have set up "Pending Activation Event", which takes the state to the one that fades things out once loading is done.

I also have set Global Variable to "Allow Scene to Load" field, and that said variable gets flipped to "True" once everything is in order. However, it does not work  :(

I'm having hard time understanding how to go with this, help would be epic.

I really need help because my game developement is stuck at loading screen part.

PlayMaker Help / Rotate Player Body within Camera Movement
« on: November 13, 2017, 08:37:29 AM »
*Rewrote the whole question for better understanding.

So i have PlayMaker FSM script placed on Camera, that has the basic "Mouse Look" script and "Look At" for the head of my character to follow the camera movement. [Useful with when Player see he's shadow]

The second FSM i have is for Player's Body, but that one is not important with this case, it works as it should. [Also handles movement.]

My actual problem here is to somehow inform the Player Body itself, to rotate with the camera only when the "Mouse Look" Maximum X, and Minimum X is reached. And obviously stop rotating when the those values are not reached.
I haven't found an way to try this for example with variables.

Its funny that i got almost everything in order, from running to jumping and complete Diagonal Movement, but cant get the character to rotate with the Camera Movement  ;D

Pre-release Discussion / Re: Unity 5.4 beta PlayMaker errors

Not in my case. I cant even run test game since it spits out exact same errors as above :/

Oh. Well now that you put it that way, it actually makes sense. Thank you!
I will most likely come back to ask more help, since im pretty new with playMaker.

Edit: What type of Variable should i use?

So, i need help. I want to enable animation (gameobject) for turning an lever, when player is in triggerzone and presses mouse0. However i couldnt make the playMaker to do so, i had "OnTriggerEnter" on start, but i have no idea of how to implement the mouse press to it..? Do i have to edit the scripts, or is there a way to do this only in playMaker.  ???
