PlayMaker Help / GetAxis not working
« on: January 14, 2020, 02:14:45 PM »
I am using playmaker and unity since a couple of years without a hassle.
However in my current project (android build for oculus quest) the get axis action is not working. Inputs are properly set up, axis name is put in the get axis field, every frame is ticked, variable is set. But when I use the axis nothing is stored in the variable. Tried several axes with the same result.
Axis is recognized by unity C# scripts.

VR Help / Steam VR Input System

Hi. When using oculus SDK the playmaker scripts using the unity input system work totally fine (key pressed etc.). However, now I need to use the Steam VR SDK 2.x with a new input binding system. What scripts do I need or how can I trigger recent when a custom button is pressed on the vive/oculus controller? Normal input bindings don't seem to work.

PlayMaker Help / Re: Scripts not loaded in build

Allright, importing through the screen inside unity rather than via the store did it for me. Thanks!

Sounds a little similar to my problem - it is actually not a trigger, but a script that activates an object after x seconds. And it only works in editor mode, but is not called in the build.

PlayMaker Help / Scripts not loaded in build[SOLVED]
« on: January 21, 2019, 03:22:28 AM »

I have a problem that seems to occur after updating to unity 2018.3 (from 2017.2) I have a couple Playmaker Scripts in a prefab. In the preview (editor) everything works fine. In the build (windows) the playmaker script is not loaded, in the output log I get several of theses errors
(Filename: Line: -1)

TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred.

Rethrow as TypeInitializationException: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm

To make it a little clearer: The prefab containing the fsm is called on start of the game. The prefab itself (a hand model) is loaded and working properly. An object that is part of the hierarchy of the prefab contains a fsm. That fsm is not loaded. The fsm itself is only communicating with objects that are contained in the prefab, no variables or arrays are used.

Any idea?
