No, since console gamepads can be used on PC. Use Platform Dependent Events.

Hi, I am using 'get joystick name' action to get whether the player is running on consoles since consoles only use joystick controllers.

Curious if this is the correct or the best way to check if the game is running on consoles?

Yeah i think it's the same action, using unity 2019. Even though there's a weird error, it is working fine in adjusting the vsync setting. Not sure why.

Hi, i always get this error 'value must be in between 0 and 4' even though the value is correct.

Hi, if I set my camera sensitivity to a high value, sometimes when I turned my camera quickly up or down, it will overshoots and rotate all the way around. It will also happen if lagging is present.

Is there something I can do about this?

Hi, I am using controller move + rigidbody to move in my 3rd person platformer game. I am trying to make my character move forward automatically when pressing the attack button which is difficult to do with the character controller. I tried multiplying the z axis of the vector3 but it always move in world position rather than the local position. Also tried setting the velocity but useless because of the character controller.

Any tips? thanks

Hi, I upgraded my project to 2018, imported/replace the playmaker package from asset store and facing with a weird ugui problem.

The error goes something like 'ugui actions cannot exist in current context'.

Tried replacing the ugui folder from another project but still the same. Esosystem doesn't have the ugui proxy package anymore.

You can use UI Set Color Block action found under UI actions, there is a highlighted color field (click the hamburger menu for the color picker to show up).

Hi, Ifound 3 actions to test if Steam is running.

'steam is logged on'
'steam is running'
'steam is subscribed'

Curious which one is most preferred use to check if the player is playing on Steam? For example if he is playing it on xbox, it will run a false event.

Hi, just a idea inspired by Unreal which you select a gameobject in the hierachy and then in the playmaker fsm action, there's a arrow option to instantly insert in the selected gameobject.

I think it can be very helpful to have this feature instead of manually dragging everytime.

Ah, I managed to got it somehow.

Setting the vector3 x and z with the rewired axis and then using my camera's y rotation for the vector3 y. But now the problem is that I cant find any value that i can use for animating the animator's speed parameter.

Not sure if this is the best way to do it though.
