User Showcase / Re: Product visualization
« on: July 01, 2014, 05:50:47 AM »
Heyyy guys, thanks for the comments and for liking it :D I like the result too.

@Alex: hehe, the dive environment is actually a kitchen interior panorama with blue walls rolled with the windows facing up and blurred beyond recognition... but don't tell anyone.

@Coffee: HDR panoramas, some done by me, others from the web.

Hey guys, have a look at this product showcase i did almost entirely in PlayMaker, for many of you it will appear primitive, but its an achievement for me.

PlayMaker Help / Re: Simple Intro Animation ... help
« on: May 29, 2014, 12:43:45 AM »
@ Breadman: Thanks man, i wanted to avoid iTween since everyone says HOTween is way faster.

@Alex: I know, i know... just wanted to try it with PM, to learn. Will create each one with the Unity animator and piece them together with PM.
Thank you!

PlayMaker Help / Simple Intro Animation ... help [RETHINKED]
« on: May 28, 2014, 05:51:20 AM »
Hey guys, i'm doing a very simple intro animation for a product demo. I created it in flash (see the GIF below) and want to recreate it with PlayMaker.
I prepared the different elements as separate objects (meshes) and i can access them individually. I already made the fade-ins, but i'm kinda confused with how to make the rotation of the watch, and how to ease it... I would like to use the  HOTween actions, but i cant find documentation and dont know how to do it.
Or maybe i should use the 'ease' commands, but which and how? hmm

I'm thankful for any advice.

I'll try my best to get it in before the Christmas holiday next week, but I can't guarantee it.

I appreciate your patience :)

Hey dont worry, enjoy the holidays. I don't need it before Christmas!

Many thanks and all the best!

Thank you clandestine! I'm looking forward to getting a glimpse of what you make with the kit.

Me too :D

I am indeed planning to add lives, checkpoints and basic enemies hopefully in the next update. I'm also working to add mobile support right now.

Any estimate?

Thanks!

Purchased as promised! I'll work with it as soon as i finish my current project! At the moment i'm planning to create a small educational platformer for 1~2~3 grade children. But as a hardcore gamer i'll focus more on the gameplay and graphics :D

Thank for the great work Graham!

Thats really great! As for the camera, don't worry, if you do it, it will be great, if not its ok anyway... BUT you cant deny the depth that these slight changes in perspective can add to the game.

Pandemonium is the first one i saw doing that back in 1996, then came Nights Into Dreams, Klonoa, Kirby 64, etc.
The interesting thing is that the industry seems to be in love with this old method again in recent games such as Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate, also the most hyped graphical update for the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for the WiiU, is precisely this! If you feel like giving it a shot, you can add it to the package, or you can sell it as an add-on, or as a completely separate product. I'll be very grateful in any case.

Thanks Graham!

The demo is great. Thanks for the hard work!
I'm thinking to get it before the end of next week.

- Is it possible to put the camera on a path so it can change angle( like pandemonium, nights, etc)
- Are you planing to add lifes and enemy interaction (bouncing on head, punching or shooting for example)?

Thanks!

Work In Progress... / Re: Pinball PlayMaker Kit (#1GAM6)
« on: September 10, 2013, 03:32:33 AM »
I got it yesterday from the Asset Store!
Thank you very much, great work!!

I had a slight problem while importing the kit. Tried importing the complete package in an empty project and got this (unity4 FREE):

what am i doing wrong? Should i exclude some of the assets in the package?

Thanks a lot in advance!

EDIT: ok, by excluding GraphicsSetting.asset from the import menu i managed to make it work. Is this file needed for the proper functioning of the PinBall?
