PlayMaker Help / Addforce in the direction of player?

Hi all,

I would love to implement knock back in my game where the player hit the foe and knock them in the direction of the player.I manage to push the foe away using addforce but stuck on how to get the move in the direction of player.

I look into "get forward direction" in ecosystem and transform direction in the PM action but clueless on to use it.

Can somebody help me.Thanks

Manage to do it.. I just raycast the wall and random rotate more than 45 degres and continue move away from player position.

I hope there is a neat solution for this but for my game this is suffice.

Hi all,

Im implementing an enemy type that will flee from player when player too close to them using navmesh.

For now, im multiplying player position vector3 with -1 on Z-axis. It works and the enemy move away from player direction but the problem now is, when i chase them to end/edge of navmesh they keep on trying to go to that direction.

Any help?

Hi...Thanks, browsing thru the command and cannot find Array List Remove.

Basically the step is like u said:

1.Another trigger exit and store the collider as GameObj
2.Remove the object from the array--This part i need guidance since there no remove from array action.

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for this community for quick respond. My learning prototype is progressing real good:)

Ok, new problem that need guidance. I implementing a simple Trigger around player in beatem up like game, that store Array of All Enemies that get inside trigger and as soon the enemy/enemies move out of the trigger the will be deleted from the Array.

I manage to put them in but have no idea how to remove them accordingly.Can someone shows in step and will try to implement it:)

Thanks for the fast reply:) ill tried and report back. i also browse thru playmaker action Get Animator Current Transition Info Is Tag but dont really know how to use it to determine current animation ended or not.

Update: i got it working by using animation event to start detect key after desire frame only. Is there any other way? Thanks

Hi all,

Im learning about chaining attack by press 'a button' from this video and switching from first
Animation to the second if button is press during the first animation.
This video:

I look at it and implement it myself, the chaining is like speed up the current animation and quickly go to the next animation. Is there any way we can let first animation finish and start the next one?

Thanks all, its work as intended using Gameo Object Shake.Im looking for a regular shake but Cinemachine look yummy! ill dive into that later.

@djaydino, tried that but after using it as action the camera dont really shake a wont back to initial position.

@jean,will look into it. Does it support Playmaker directly or using Call Method?

Hi all,

im learning how to send global event but so far i cant understand the flow.

1.I have two cube, one named sender and one named receiver
2.One fsm in sender detect mouse input to send global to the receiver FSM
3.It seem not working at all.
