2-Import this custom package.


We need to use quaternions because they have more power than simple rotations.

Hello
So you can get the Y axis correctly.
The X axis...not yet.

Take this action, and check BlockY.
This will help. But not yet done.
The gun won´t rotate on Y axis because my action is blocking it.
I´m not yet able to make this correctly.
I´m currently trying to make a sentry gun movement too.
So if I can do something more I will post it.

Try using a custom event instead of FINISHED event. That can be tricky.
Or maybe you didn´t set up well the layer masks? You could debug a ray to be more accurate using Debug check box.

Using ray cast action you will be able to get the hited game object (store it on a game object variable)
Then use destroy game object action to destroy it.

Using check if is grounded. If not get inicial Y position.
Then.
Check if is grounded. If yes get final Y position.
Float Operator Inicial-Final
Float Switch between your values.
With this you can hurt/kill your player.

Tip get position in world space.

Nice!
It´s very soft and clean.
-Your enemies if close to a wall, their animation put´s then inside wall. Try to mix your animation with rag doll.
-When player dies the weapon flies.
