I'm seeing some results, but it very tricky to get the right settings. sometimes they fly away really fast and for a great distance, then when I change the settings just a little bit, there's no effect at all.

It's probably an Update issue. If you have any Get/Set Position actions going on, try using Get/Set Position Advanced, and set the update to Fixed.

Or something like that.

I hope you're all well. I'm confused. Story of my life.

I've got a bunch of enemy drones that are children of an object moving towards the Mothership. When you intercept them and started shooting them, they de-parent from the 'Move Towards' object and then target your player space ship.

When they de-parent they use rigidbody/look at/apply force physics to attack you.

So, at the moment the drones are de-parented, I want to add a moment of outward force so they spread out and then target your player spaceship.

I'm using the Explosion action, but I'm having problems setting the parameters on the Action. As there are no visualisations for the action I don't know if the Force should be 10 or 100, and the same for the Radius, like, what is the scale?

I can fiddle around with trial and error for Force/Radius, so that'll be okay, but the main misunderstanding I'm having is the Layer and Layer Mask settings.

I thought I should just have my Enemies on the Layer setting, but when I hover the cursor over Layer Mask, the little message pops up saying- Type: Int Array Layers to Effect, so I put it in there. I dunno.

At the moment, I'm not getting any result from the Explosion action, and I just wondered if somebody could please give me a push in the right direction, ie - tell me how to set it up?

I'm working on a small paid job, a cinematic sequence, rendering out camera shots in Unity and editing them together in Premiere.

An action I would really love to get is some kind of event trigger for the Path Position parameter in the Body section on the virtual camera. I'm imagining something similar to a Float Range type thing.

I'd like to be able to send an event, to trigger background animations for example, at very specific moments as the camera moves along the track/path.

I've had a look in the actions/ecosystem but I can't find anything. Please, would there be a chance of getting this created? It would literally be amazing! Huge thanks.

Well, I'm glad I made a back-up.

I've updated Playmaker, not Unity, and I'm getting these conflicts that mostly come from the Shuriken particle system actions.

I've had a look but can't resolve the issues. What can I do to clear the compilation errors?

I thought I'd update Playmaker to the most recent version, and figured I may as well update Unity as well. I'm currently running Unity 2019.4.10, and I'm adding 2019.4.18 to the HUB.

What would be the best way to take my project through the Unity/Playmaker upgrade process?

I'm doing a chrono-sync backup of the project right now, and once that's done, is it simply a case of opening up the project in the newer version of Unity and then updating Playmaker from the assets store?

So, Unity 2019.4.18 with Playmaker 1.9.1.p1 - all good?

I'm de-parenting but not destroying on this FSM.

Destroying/removing from List happens on a different FSM (local to the enemy ship)

On the FSM in this thread ^^^ I need the objects to de-parent, but stay on the list. If they are shot (destroyed) they are removed/despawned elsewhere.

The 10 enemy ships go through a 3 stage attack routine, and i need the list to remain intact (unless an enemy is shot/destroyed/removed from list) so that I can pass on additional instructions to the objects in the list for the next attack stage.

Make sense?

Hello, I understand what you're saying, but I still don't understand how to action the solution. What is the Array Maker add-on? Is that an additional Action on the Ecosystem (add-on) or do you mean, as I have Array Maker already, I have the add-on?

Is the add-on i should be using - 'Array List' ?
