Not quite what I'm after, I think.

I wrote that when I was half asleep so I probably didn't word it very well.

The interaction would be like this:

You slide your finger left and right on the touch pad: the object rotates - and + on the Z axis.

Your finger stops sliding, but remains touching: the rotation stops.

I think in what you're describing if I kept my finger still at the side of the touch pad, it would continue to rotate the object, whereas I only want the object to rotate when I move my finger around.

First of all, great asset!

Would it be possible for you to add some kind of get  touchpad delta position functionality?

I want to be able to rotate an object by swiping my thumb around the pad. The same sort of feeling you'd get moving a cursor around with a touchpad on a laptop, or rotating a 3D object on a smart phone screen,  for example.

Hopefully that makes sense!

Hey mate,

I gave it a shot earlier on in the project, but it kept spamming me with red errors on the lines regarding the interpolation, so I just rolled my own system in Playmaker.

Deciding to have another go at building a fighter. After learning from a few mistakes the first time around, I decided to start with the move input system, and then added in some graphics once I was satisfied with how executing moves felt.

The focus is just making it feel nice to play, not worrying about balance yet. Also, trying to keep things as modular and neat as possible.

Tried making it 2D, but didn't like it, decided it's time to knuckle down and smash out the 3D art in my spare time.

In the meantime, here's a new high score! (And I suppose the 2D character I made to try that style out):
