Ah ok, thank you. thing I don't understand...does the usage of templates improve performance, or is it just a convenient way to copy an FSM? In other words, if I have 80 FSMs generated from a single template, in the end is that the same as not using templates in terms of game performance?

I read that having a low number of FSMs is good, (like less than 5), and I'm not sure if I'm being overly cautious about that.

I have about 80 identical objects in my scene. Each one, when clicked, plays a unique sound file and begins a rotation animation. I can easily create this behavior by adding a FSM to one of the objects, but I'm assuming it's bad to just copy that FSM onto the other 79 objects, resulting in 80 unique FSMs? that ok? Is the idea to somehow do it with a single FSM?

PlayMaker Help / Re: How to loop or pingpong a color/variable?

That is interesting.....though I think that would make it look as if the color was moving through the object on an axis, not that it was pulsing uniformly between black and white.

PlayMaker Help / How to loop or pingpong a color/variable?

Hello, I have a scene in which I have about 20 spheres and I want the color on all of them to animate between black and white. I noticed that iTween had lots of nice looping functions, but can't see how to apply these to a color variable. Is the best way to do this somehow within one action, or do you need to do it with a series of States? I need to do it for many objects, so I'm just concerned about overloading the CPU.

Oh! Had to add colliders to the walls. Works now.

PlayMaker Help / Mousedown seeing "through" other objects[SOLVED]

Hi, I have a scene with a Cube that I click to rotate it. I added the MouseDown event to trigger it and it works great. But, in front of the cube there is a wall, and it registers the mousedown through the wall, so the cube starts rotating when you can't even see it. Is there a way to do it so that other objects in the scene block the mousedown event so it only works when the Cube is visible?

PS, definitely new to playmaker so apologies if I'm missing something obvious.

Oh! I may have figured it out. I added an "ease Float" action and applied it to a variable I used in the XAngle field of the rotation.

I have a cube that is constantly rotating using the simple "Rotate" action. Is there a way for it to ease into this rotation, say over a period of 3 seconds, instead of starting at the constant rotation speed? I'm new to Playmaker but everything I saw in iTween about "easing" seemed to refer to some sort of loop, not an ease into a *constant* rotation.
