Can't add variables in prefab?

Hi, I added an FSM to a UI object in a prefab. I added an Ease Float action but it's really odd in that it's missing about half of the inputs. I can't pass the value to a variable as there's no place to enter one?

Uhhh weird...I 'fixed' this by deleting the state and remaking a new state and adding a new Ease Float action. Feels like a bug maybe? At least a fix was easy.
