[SOLVED] Can not understand look at action

Hi! I have a cylinder (red line) and i want to rotate it so that it always show the red dot. When i use look at action (blue arrow) it is rotated 90 degrees. I am new an i don;t understand how it works. Can someone help?

Hi.
Best is to use a empty parent and place the cylinder.

then you can set the position/rotation manually on the cylinder so it is in the correct direction.

then do the look at action on the empty parent
