Run up walls?

Is there any way, I can like have my character recognize when he hits the side of a cube and run up the side? Like running up a wall?

you will have to use colliders, maybe these tutorials can help you a bit.

in part 3 you can see some stuff about collider and animating it is 2.5D but it are the same principals for 3D
