NGUI get and set image based on value
« on: May 23, 2015, 04:44:48 PM »
hi, im trying to create a NGUI screen image which activates when am item is picked up. I have used text before ok but dont see any options to set an image e..g player picks up key and then NGUI displays it on the screen as an icon to show its been picked up.

any ideas on how to do this call?

Cheers, Nick

Would that work similar to the inventory systems where the 3d object is picked up & displayed as a sprite image in the inventory?

Hi. Yes it would, I don't need anything too complex. There's only going to be e.g. 3 keys and I wany greyed out icons which become colour based on value. Do you know where I could look?

Hi, sorry I haven't worked that out yet.  I've found someone in these forums that posted help using array maker & some save add-on but am yet to start on it (maybe next weekend).

I just thought I'd ask so that if it was you might be able to expand your search criteria here for playmaker & on YouTube or the unity forum
