been racking my brain around this i know how to set the game volume but how would you go about setting up a volume slider for sfx. there the set audio volume action but that only does 1 object. and the game volume dosent allow for any other input its mainly just a master volume

Get master audio form the asset store.  You'll wonder why unity doesn't do this stuff like: volume, playlists, triggers and such (with playmaker support).  it'll make your life 100 times easier.

Sorry to resurrect this post, but there is also "AudioListener.volume" which would do this fairly easily - I'd love a custom action that let me set this value!
