play random animation weight [SOLVED]
« on: August 27, 2015, 12:15:54 AM »
I searched for old post but found none to answer my specific question... which is:
What exactly is the weight?
Is it a % of 100, 1-10, or other measure?
The help screen is very vague.

Hi,

 it's a relative distributed ratio, from 0 to 1.

if you have 2 animation, and put both weight to the same values, they'll remain 50/50 chances

if you do 0.2 and 0.8 then the first as 20% chances to get called and the other 80%. This case is a direct link with percent because the sum of all weight is 1 ( 0.2 + 0.8).

 Bye,

 Jean

Perfect! Thanks.
Cut and paste that reply to the help tip on the action.
"it's a relative distributed ratio, from 0 to 1" :)
