GUILayout Variable Image [SOLVED]

Hi, I have a quick question about GUILayout windows/areas.
I need to change the texture used in a GUI layout window during runtime via a variable. In your documentation:
https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W424
the example image shows the "Use Variable" icon next to the Image field. However that does not appear in any of Actions. Was that a feature that was removed? I'm still on Playmaker v1.1 too, (did not want to upgrade mid-project), so let me know if it's something in a newer version instead.
Just confused. Thanks for clarification!

Yes, texture variables were introduced in 1.2.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm going to try upgrading to the latest version, (of course, I will back up my project beforehand!), but is there anything I should be aware of first?
Cheers.
