100% new to coding
« on: October 22, 2015, 10:47:38 AM »
I'm wanting to get into making video games. I figured i'd start out with a simple game that is menu driven with a button that ends your turn. Also a simple combat system. Is playmaker a good choice for something like this for someone with no coding experience?

I thought about starting with construct 2, but I want to start with something that I prob won't out grow.

yes. I suggest watching all the basic tutorials beforehand and see if you like the flow and if things make sense.

Use unity/UE4 as the sky is the limit with these engines.. When u get better, get the hang of things and become more ambitious, u will be glad you stuck with unity or UE4..
